Gday all,

Just picked up a 2002 M2 cyclone down in Australia, fully stock, and am gonna get new exhaust system. 2 options open to me here -
1. D&D full exhaust and forcewinder
2. Pro series race kit, but can't find ECM at the moment.

I have the euro gearing on my bike, so was lookin for more punch in low/mid.

cheers

It would probably be more easy (cheap) to keep the stock headers and use a slip-on exhaust.

I think dealers can reprogram stock ignition brains for you.

The entire Pro-Series race kit really isn't worth the bother on an M2, except for the header. The only parts I kept from the factory race kit for my 2000 M2 were the header and ECM, but the ECM barely makes a difference. The CF race filter flows great but it sticks out pretty far and hit my knee (badly). The CF cover only lasted three rides before I smashed it with my knee and fractured it. I put my Forcewinder back on.

I also didn't use the Pro-Series muffler. It was heavier than my old V&H and I didn't trust the rear mounting brackets, so I modified my old V&H to fit the race header.

If I were you, I'd just get a can for the stock header.

I don't think the stock ignition is reprogrammable (at the dealer, at least).
You'll need to rejet the carb, that should be your main concern.
