Hi everyone. It's been quite a while since I've been to the site, and boy do I have a story.

Back in July I was driving down a closed road (I know, I know) one rainy night (yeah yeah I know what you're thinking), and my m2 and I met the dirt. Unfortunately, I met more than the dirt. There was a road closed barricade that I was trying to avoid that got planted in my skull.

I am so thankful to be alive, and - with no hard feelings - have ridden my last motorcycle. I know the bike wasn't to blame (just me being dumb), but I couldn't bear to put my wife and kids through that again.

So now I've been up and around again for a month or so, and I come across my bike in the garage... what to do. All in all it didn't fare too poorly, but I don't want to expend the energy to rebuild it and then not ride it. The forks are definitely bent but the frame and engine both look ok (can't test because electric is out).

I know Buells (especially m2s) get parted out over ebay all the time, but I just had someone offer to trade a boat for it that is worth probably $2000. Just wondering what you guys thought of the deal - I was only hoping for $2,500 tops for the bike.

Thanks for the help with past situations, and I wish you all many happy miles.

ps I'll post some pics as soon as I get the chance.
