I'm piecing back together my X1 and I've been running into a lot of XB parts. Will the rear drive sprocket off of an XB fit on me rear pm wheel. Also, will the turn signals off of an XB work on my X1. Thanks in advance. I'm sure I will have a few more questions as I continue my build up.

Not sure about the sprocket, but I know the XB turn signals are the same as the tubers. They sell them as different part numbers for the right front, left rear and left front, right rear. However, they are kind of modular. You can take them apart and turn parts around, etc. to make them fit any of the locations.

I am going through a X1 buildup myself and I also like the XB sprocket. That was my first thought too, but on closer inspection the PM wheels and sprocket on the X1 are 5 bolt and the XB sprockets are 6 bolt. I even inquired about having the stock sprocket custom cut to look like the XB, but it would be too expensive. American Sport Bike has a nice modified rear sprocket that you might like. I bought a "wave" brake rotor and the American Sport Bike sprocket looks very close (its on my x-mas list). Good luck with your project.

I wish I could afford one of those from American Sport Bike. I'm trying to do this as cheaply as I can. I guess I will just end up painting the sprocket black. I'm glad to hear the XB signals work. I'll be buying some shortly.

Alright, I have another one. Is a speedo off of a 2000 cyclone the same as an X1? If it is how do I go about getting the right millage put on it? Or does it even matter?

I think the speedo from a Cyclone would not have the check engine light and low fuel light that the X1 equipment does (or are those lights on the tach on the X1?).

Not exactly certain - but trying to help,

The connector looked about the same. I just wasn't sure. Would a parts book be helpful in checking parts across all these bikes? I see a lot of stuff I could use. I'm just unsure if it's what I need, unless it came off of an X1.

The digital speedo from a cyclone will work perfectly with your X1.

Phatkidwit1eye, I PMd you on many of the parts that you need. I am taking many mint parts off my x1 for some xb conversions. reply if you are interested.

I've got XB wheels, forks, brakes, and pulley on my wish list. Right now I just have the XB heads...
