So i hate scraping pegs, and now that i want to go ot a track day, its getting annoying even more.

What rear set can i use that still keeps passenger pegs, but i can still use OEM shifter and brake linkage, or an all in one thing that i can get.

The cross-roads rear-sets, are available with a passenger pegs...

they aer 450 for the set, adn come with everythign you will need.

They polish up nicely...and are actually pretty stout. I got mine from a someone, who layed their X1 over..otehr than some rashing..nothign was bent, or broken...

Plus, teh crossroads rear-sets, are not as aggresive as some others out there.

Nate, I was a peg scraper too...I got the rear-sets..adn it solved most issues, now the pegs are just THAT much higher, it makes sliding around the seat to hang off easier for me...

I can't attest for the X1 rear set but I have a pair on my S1W. It definately cured my peg scraping. I still catch a toe once in a great while (when my feet aren't in the correct position: D ). But don't expect the day-to-day comfort of stock position.

Good luck. I got EXTREMELY lucky with my set...

But, post a want add anyway...and keep an eye out..

I actually find mine to be more comfortable, with the rear sets, and cross-roads bars..BUT, thats me, I MIGHT switch to a renthal bar later on, and see how I like that etc...

Well, see...there is an issue with that...

You become complacent scrapping pegs..etc...

then, one saturday morning, while blistering the sidewalls or you rear tire... that peg catches something...sending you and your scoot into a lowside(if you are lucky)..causing teh obvious road rash, and other damage...and lets not forget the bike...

But, to each their own...

Yep, i had a friend i work with in japan, a riding buddy he was with on the mountains above tokyo, he was scraping a peg around a long left hander, and grabbed a dip in the road, it grabbed the bike, spun it around, threw him over 200 feet into a guardrail where he broke an arm and a leg. Id rather not scrape after hearing that

YoW!
The worst I've had it was touching the toe of my (then new) boot down. It yanked it off of the peg.
My old Cterpillars would slide along nicely but my Wolverines grip too much.
