Well with all the changes I've done on the bike lets just say it's a 98,99,2000 M2. Not sure on the tail section though. I aquired a 96 S1 tailsection w/seat but it looks like I would have to cut on the sub frame to get it on the bike. I'm not in a big hurry to saw on my bike You shouldn't have a ny problems with the gas tank. Anyway that's just my two cents.
