so here they are, give me a few minutes to get them all up and yall will be able to see, i made some changes already, took off buell emblems, sticker on the tank to tell you how high to fill it, im stripping the front fender to start my tribal design that will go from the front fender, to flyscreen, to tank until i can save up for carbon fiber (wifes idea) in flat black so there is a nice contrast

When you say you put a sticker on the tank to tell you how high to fill it, what exactly do you mean?

Could you take a couple pictures of your fender eliminator? It looks like that was a garage job, but it looks good. Just wondering how that was done?

Spyder, in my opinion, the one you have now, is gonna look better than the carbon fiber one..

I did something similar to what yoru bike has..

and my boy has the carbon one...

I just dont like how it isnt flush with the tail section...

Speaking of tribal stuff I am thinking about doing some carving on the stock rear fender. Like routing out some designs that go all the way through on the sides of the fender. I gota a rotazip and a fancy mac die grinder alot of carbon bits.

After I cut out some designs... though I think im going to want to paint it black. I gota rob the bank anyway for flex primer and or flex agent for the paint may as well do it. First thought was flames but i dont think so .

I bought the airtech and have not mounted it. It is fiberglass and unpainted... http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/buell/X19902.htm I'll let it go for $ 90.00 and I'll pay shipping.

lol, no offense but if its fiberglass, i make it. buying fiberglass from people is too risky, every bike isnt the exact same, and there are always imperfections, if i make it myself, it can be exact. I appreciate the offer though

Spyder, dont discount AirTech's goods...every peice I have put my hands on from them, has been top notch... In fact, I recently ordered somethign from them myself....

Just a little FYI, is all...

But yeah, I made a undertail outta aluminium, for right now, it only goes as far forward as yours, but, I am looking for another sheet, and wanna enclose the whole tailsection...

An off topic question...how do ya'll keep that polished ally looking great?

yeah for real,

In all honesty, you could get it painted, there is a chrome paint out now, but that still involves sanding etc.

yeah, make sure you do it one realllly good with 5 or 6 coats of mothers aluminum polish and the ball iw as talking about above, and wipe it down with a clean rag after you ride it, the polish will leave a layer on it that the dirt wont want to stick too.

It saved my 3,000 One Off Volk rims lip doing this, stayed as shiny and new as day one, just took a rag and wiped it off at the end of the day before pullin it in the garage

See here is the thing, I am really liking the polished look....

BUT, the maintannace to keep in looking good, is freaking horrendous I hear..I ride mine EVERY day, rain or shine, and IF I am lucky, it gets cleaned once a month....
