Anyone know if there's a readily available rebuild kit for the master cylinder shown in the photo? I'm thinking that this is the year to get my rear brake to actually function! (keeping in mind that the rear brake is not indended to actually STOP the bike, but I may want to try that elusive "used to set up the suspension for cornering" activity it was supposedly designed for) Thanks! The last I knew, there wasn't one. I replaced mine once, with a new one from Kim.

Still have the old one.

Left,

Going thru this right now.

TAW out of Colorado Springs is a Brembo dealer. They have ordered rebuild kits. Just waiting for them to show up. Cost is $12 for the kit. TAW was actually faster to respond than Brembo USA.

Brembo # for the master cyl is 10.3006.20 (BMW type) and is obsolete.

Brembo #110.2739.20 is the rebuild kit for the above number and is still available

The suggested replacement master cyl is Brembo #10.4776.65

The original is a 15mm and the replacement is a 16mm.

Hope this helps

Loki

Thanks Loki & Rich - I'll look into the above info.
