I was told by someone in the Buell management that 742 X1W bikes were made in 2002, the guys at JetHot exhaust coatings said they thought that had to be a correct number because they originally were suppose to do the blue ceramic coat for 1000 sets of pipes, but did not do that many.

Does the same thing apply to S3Ts as S2Ts?
Last 4 digits of Vin #...?
If so, my 2000 S3T is 0025....# 25 of 351?
Just curious?

Funny . . I was digging through stuff yesterday and found the original photo that painting was done from. It was shot my Mary White, a member of a woman's riding group in Milwaukee, while visiting the Buell "factory" at 214 Jefferson.

Onahog, are you saying that there were only 351 S3T's made in 2000?
