I had fairly bad rocker cover leaks and am in the process of tearing down to change the gaskets and install XB rocker covers on my 99 X1. I'm thinking however, I will likely have to change the lower rocker gaskets as well. What are the chances the lower rocker gaskets are also leaking? Anyone have experience, thoughts on this?

I would replace them all since you will have it torn down. Better to do it now than replace just the uppers and find it's still leaking. Just make sure all mating surfaces are clean and flat!
