Help:
Speedo cable busted. How do I disconnect the cable from drive unit at the wheel? Any other helpful tips would also be appreciated.

Are you sure the cable is bad? I went through 4 sensors in 2 years on my M2 before getting an improved recall part.

the cable is screwed into the housing and held with a setscrew

there is a tiny brass set screw on the bottom of the drive (almost missed it the first time i had to r&r the cable). loosen it and the cable should unscrew fairly easily (counterclocwise from rear of bike). be careful not to overtighten when you replace the setscrew

Buellzebub....
Thanks man...that is tiny. I never would have seen it without your heads up info. Now I've just got to find a small enough screw driver.
Thanks again for the help
