I drove to Montreal (from southern MA)
and back via a different route.

About 1100 miles in 20 hours.

The pain! At least the bike didn't seem to mind.

Congratulations!

Did you save the documentation (fuel receipts and stuff?)...if so we have our 41st Ironbutt Bueller.

Perhaps it makes you a pair of iron butts?

Funny, my butt doesn't feel like it's made of iron right now.

"what'd you do in montreal?"

I got frustrated and left!
I lost my friends' contact ino somewhere along the way and by the time I found their hotel, it had closed up for the night.
I then wanted to get ANY hotel and went on the bypass to try to get across town but it dumped me on route 15 south.
The border was only 40 miles away so I thought that I'd just get a hotel south of the border.

It was such a nice night..... oops! I'm in Troy NY!

You know how it is.

Nate sorry about the blunt post last night....

The ride home for me was miserable....

I somehow managed to cathc a band of rain, from somewhere south of Dover Del, almost all the way to the chespeake memorial bridge....no rain on the bay...gotover the bridge, semi thawed and dried...got rained on again....was tired cold and hungry...took me 12 hours to cover only 500 miles...it sucked...plus traffic on the Jersey pike(sunday, go figure)....

Anyway, glad you at least enjoyed the ride....

Getting my forks rebuilt this winter, and the bike set-up by some one...a race buddy and what not while I am gone...So...he wieghs I think 3 lbs less than me...to it shoudl be about perfect, as I cant seem to get this right...

Then we will hit Rte 2 again...

Had a great time riding with ya'll last weekend, no stunts, no crap, just ride...stop to eat, and ride some more....my kinda day...

And thanx for the help witht eh battery(and getting my trip odo to work...) though, looked at MY fuse panel, and it only says clock..huh, I dont even have one of those, probably why it wasnt changed.....

After you split off, they let me lead.
Before I knew it, they were honking at me.
They meant LEAD US HOME!!
I had led them roughly north to manchester VT it was only a 45 mile deviation. I don't think Mike minded. Dan needs a bike he can live with I think.

My battery seems to have died at work.
It will not retain a charge after jumper cables are removed.
I can't complain since this battery lasted 4 years.
Also, it didn't leave me stranded in some godforsaken wilderness between Montreal and Troy!
