Almost finished changing from ECM to twintec ignition. I want to pull the the tach signal wire from the ECM connector. So that I don't have to cut into the factory wire. I think its the pink number 12. Just wanted to check?

Also whats the location on m2, and S1's for the VOES switch? This would be my last item to convert my X1 into a frankstein bike. X1 with XB heads with mikuni carb!

The schematic shows the tach signal on an X1 is PK (I assume pink, mine IS pink) on wire 12, black connector on the ECM.

Wes:
yes black connector pink wire position 12 is the tach line.(I can't read the FSM main wiring drawing with out a glass or I would send you a copy. I could read these

connector 39 is under the tank left side (i think )
What I can tell from pix i have seen it (VOES)is tapped into the manifold behind the carb on top

Good luck Dr. ..................
