Made a poor mans ram air by putting a air filter on the end of the tube inside my airbox and removing the airbox. At first I plugged the big blow by holes in the top of the tube but when I really gave it gas it really ran like crap unplugged the holes and it didnt make any difference. Runs great if I just putter around but nail the gas and it misses so bad the whole bike shakes. Did this lean me out or is there something else that would cause this? (putting the airbox back on solved the prob just curious as to why it acts so different.)
