Has anyone added hardbags to an M2?
If so, which ones?

Thanks

M

yes, they have...s3 bags.

That is my goal too. I have the frame mounts and parts of the bags...All that has to be made is a bracket for the top of the frame for the mount to mount to. the lower mount mounts to the foot peg brackets. I have been collecting parts on ebay and I am almost there. all I need is a right side narrow lid and to have the system mounted.

a fellow in northern cal has done it and I also saw one at the homecoming in 2000.....rex

A recent purchase by Cliffb -

It doesn't go into how they are actually mounted though. Just pics of the bike with them already installed.

I'm still waiting for JC Motors to deliver the bike. Once I get it, I'll post some pics of how they went on.

Cliff,

Five minutes after I got permission from the wife to spend her money on your future M2 I logged onto EBay to place my bid (more than you paid for it), only to find you arranged to purchase it. I was so pissed. I guess I'll just have to buy a BMW after all. I hope you are really happy with the bike. It was the hard bags that sold me. It would have looked so nice next to my wife's grey/orange 02 M2 and my flat black 97 S1. I'm looking forward to seeing how the bags are mounted. Maybe I'll put some on the wifes bike so I don't have to wear a backpack all the time.

Joel
