Figured I'd see if I could get some advice on how to handle a windshield replacement. It looks like you can access the front and back of all but the bottom two or so windshield bolts (the ones right above the headlight)...

...so is there something else that has to be removed before unscrewing the existing windshield?

That's the last remaining immediate piece of the puzzle in the creation of my Buell Goldthunderfrankenwing...

If the S3T is like the S2T. They used the same type of rubber insert nuts (don't know the real name) as on the bodywork. Only six screws to remove. A couple pics for ya.

Well, it's done! Except for heated grips and an XM radio receiver + speakers, my mods to the S3T are complete.

Looks good... is that a Rifle wind screen? Hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip.
I lived in georgia for four years... sure do miss it!

It's a Gustaffson Plastics +8 screen. Works ok, but I think a tall Rifle might have been a better solution; it would have been more vertical.

That's why I asked I thought it looked a little more swept back compared to the Rifle.
Thanks. Once again enjoy your trip!
