Anyone know if such an animal exists? I've got a Corbin Seat + backrest on my bike, and having a cargo rack that jutted out from behind the backrest would be a great help for longer trips.

Also, has anyone tried to install an intercom on an S3T? I have an Autocom setup that I'd like to add to the bike, but I'm not really sure where to tuck the thing away. I suppose I could put it in a powered tankbag or in one of the fairing pouches but I'd like something a little more "permanent".

dont know how big the autocom is, but how about under the tail section on the right. there isnt anything under there and you could mount it like the ecm on the other side.

Old_mil: Ventura makes a rack for the S3; it's intended for use with their packs but you can get a short rack accessory which works as a regular luggage rack.

There was also a recent thread on the subject (actually for an S2 but looks like it would work for an S3):

Ventura systems are topnotch...had them on my Duc. they make a sweet set-up for the S3.
NO BODY MAKES ANYTHING FOR THE S2!!...SO I MADE MY OWN ..

I have a Ventura sport-rack on my '98 S3T. On the plus side it does give me more luggage capacity (I have a top-box with a universal mounting that I have put on the rack) and on the (extremely rare) occasions I take a pillion it provides something to hold on to. It looks like it would be compatible with a Corbin backrest but I can't be sure - I have a Corbin saddle with a mounting for a backrest, but don't have the backrest itself.

The downside is that in my opinion it spoils the lines of the bike, and the L brackets rub slightly on the upper inner edge of the saddlebags. This doesn't seem to have caused any real stress to the inners but does make mounting and demounting the saddlebags a tiny bit slower.
