My dad used to toss extra bits of hardware in for folks as a joke when he helped with mechanical projects.

You didn't have any help on this project did you?

Did you forget a screw on the rear fender by chance? Looks like the left side or the front one.

That is almost definately one of the bolts that holds the rear hugger fender on. Looks like the one that goes up by the ground strap and holds the fender and brake line holder.

after my total frame teardown, then build up...i was only left with one extra bolt too. I felt pretty good, since i sort of grouped everything into two groups: Engine/drivetrain bolts, and other bolts

I just finished tearing my bike apart and reassembling it. I replaced many bolts with stainless ones. I just don't remember which ones??? I got a lot of leftover parts...

Leftover bolts?

That's a performance mod--adding lightness!

I thought an oxymoron was an idiot who removed stains from your carpets.

True one: Last week I am in a meeting and a guy misspeaks and says "chronautical". He of course meant chronological.

Didn't phase me. I told him I support his method of doing everything on the boat in the proper order.

: )

Jim, yeah, kind of like "cherry tart!"

Court, "naval intelligence" comes to mind as a nautical oxymoron...
