Curved lines vs sharp angles.
It would greatly distract from the intended "female type" curves of the S2
A curvey female is a beautiful thing, so is an S2.

I miss my S2...

Personal tip - don't let someone ride your Buell unless they've ridden Buells before...

I dunno, I like it. It's had a chin fairing on it since they became available.

Sorry that the pics were taken in 'full touring mode' just before I left for Homecoming last year. To make up for it, here's a pic from BattleTrax at said event (Thanks to Jose for taking and previously posting the pic, as it is very diffiuclt to take your own picture while in competition):

The tank bag attaches with 3 clips to 3 straps on the bike. The rear (single) strap loops around the rear frame rails (the ones the tail section mounts to), while the front ones (one on left side and one on right side) loop around the frame tubes that go from the steering head tube to the frame tubes where the front fairing bracket mount to.

I am the type of person who says nothing is impossible. So I would say that there has to be a way to put an XB chin fairing on an S2, but it sure won't be as easy as mounting an X1 chin fairing on an S2...
