I'm looking at buying a Xena disc lock with an alarm and am wondering if anyone uses these on an X1. I'm trying to figure out which model will fit my bike. Any suggestions?

I have one and I use it on my Road King, Bourget, and X1. Works fine on all of them.

your right on that one, I seem to be giving more piggy back rides these days than getting to go for rides on my pig. Rural Ohio jokes need not apply

UK Ride mag tested disc locks recently.

The Xena scored high with a 7/10.

The alarm was silenced very quickly but it took a stage 3 attack 63 seconds to crack it. Stage three means 'profesionals' using heavy tools.

Motrax sell a budget disc lock for around £30 over here and this turned out to be the winner resisting stage 3 attack for more than 3 minutes.

I have the Xena on my XB and have been happy - the audible alarm is nice because I'll almost never forget to take it off. I also got a large red "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" tag to hook on it as an extra reminder.

If you're worried about fit - get the smallest one - the pin is small enough to fit through the holes in the rotor and will fit almost any bike (unless there are NO holes in it).

I got the Xena XN15 in stainless steel the other day. It fits my lightning fine and is pretty heavy duty. The locking pin (1/2" diameter) fits all the way on the over the rotor and locks through one of the large triangle shaped vent holes. This thing looks like it would be very difficult to remove without some seriously heavy duty tools. The alarm part is nice, but not as load as I thought it would be. It definitely will prevent you from riding off with the lock in place though. Thanks for all the responses.
