Al, does the anodizing fade quickly ? I've seen some black fade to purple fairly quickly. looking forward to seeing your pictures. Those are probaly the only black axle cvr's in Buell land, and I'm right proud of them thank you. I did get a fair amount of shite from Cecil at the TST run to Cap's house however.

Donn,
Mine have been black anodized for over a year, and look the same as the day I got it done, no fading at all. YMMV.

Donn : Sorry, I didn't here about your car crash, but glad to here you're ok.

As for that black beast, get rid of the twin tail, it's a cool looking ride. Now where have I seen that oil bag drain before :)

Freaking SHOW bike! Do I see some black ceramic coated pipes in your future?

Hey Don, any chance you could take the time to compose a detailed list of mods an there cost/effort. I'd like to see the same from Bigbird on his customization efforts too. Y'all make me way jealous.

Hey,
I'm going to be a buell owner hopefully very soon. I've been looking over the sight and seen that many people say buell's require more wrench work than normal. I don't mind this at all, however, I'm putting myself through college and it's going to be tight with the payments alone. I'm curious if any of you would recommend the extended warranty or take the brunt of the repairs in the checkbook. Which do you think will cost me less in the long run?
Any help would be great,
hauck
