I like it..

It doesn't appear to be functional or comfortable but I like it.

Rex - Is that horizontal cylinder above the front of the primary a registration holder?
Is the ZTL style brake standard? I thought they were first on XB's.

Ducbsa;

i think i can answer your questions, correct me if i'm wrong rex.

horizontal bar is frame brace.

the ZTL is not a ZTL, it is a "perimeter" brake from Braking. Aftermarket.

The cylinder you are looking at it probably the shock reservoir, works performance.

Braking sold this brake for the tubers, long before Buell ever put them on the factory produced bikes. I got mine thru American Sportbike in LA.......

it was a dual. just a quick ride, it was noticeable coming off the S3. maybe ok once you were used to it.

Phillip! very nice! two things were's the fuel filter and the bolt hole for the swing arm were did you get a cover for it....OOOOHHHHH YEAH! one more thing on the timing cover usually you can use bolts on 12 and 6 position but you have it in the 3 and 9 position how did you do that is there a kit or did you threaded thru the plate, reason why I ask is on the 3-9 position you would use rivets.

fuel filter is just out of view. All the lines on the bike are now stainless braid and not as flexible as rubber, so I zip tied the filter in place without putting a lot of stress on the fuel line.

The isolator bolt plugs came from American Sport Bike, but I think you can get them at a hardware store. I don't know the size..

The timing cover you see is screwed into the inner timing cover which is attached with the 12 and 6 positions. I just used self tapping screws on the 9 and 3 holes in the inner plate. HD PN# 3659 - PM me your mailing address and I'll mail you one. You'll obviously need screws to reattach the timing cover though and I'm not sure what size/pitch they are. They came with the timing cover. The self tapping screws are only used to tap the hole, the pretty ones go in afterwards.

Awesome job PK!
Are those spark plugs polished or is that a cover on them? Want to get rid of that old blue select seat?

The blue select seat is already sold.

Those are covers on the spark plugs. Can't remember the PN# off the top of my head but they fit 99+ big twins. The inside has a hex cutout that fits right over the hex on the plugs.

That is VERY nice.
One question, why the HD covers? It's a Buell... what a Harley want to be when it grows up!

I wanted to go with the shiny and black theme for the whole motor. Same reason I went with the finned head bolt covers from eBay instead of the Buell Pegasus covers. I think they match the black cyls w/ highlighted fins really well. Would have prefered Pegasus covers but they're impossible to find and kind of pricey when you do.
