 Real world input. I painted the inside of my S3 fairing after riding about a year with it in factory form. The Buell windshield is not optically true so that's one limiting factor. The decisive event was my trip from IL to MS. Tucking behind it, I found that the most comfortable position was looking about 1-3 inches above the fairing. Maybe it has to do with the S3 peg position, bars, tank bag, etc. No regrets painting it though. I also attached some Velcro on the inside of the fairing for map case, ID, etc. YMMV DAve | ||

 The proceeding photos are of my S1WL with the Y2K jetbike from Marine Turbine Technologies.This photo is of the marketing truck that i operate for the fine folks at SPEEDVISION. For those of you that i have met over the past year you know how truly awsome this truck really is in person. So if you see the rig on the road or at an event , wave shout or just say HI ! ( and any suggestions for fun roads in Florida please let me know for i will be there for the entire month of February with the truck and S1W. ( i go by ballsoffire here and BEAVIS at the track) | ||
