Ozz God

LEARNING ?? Jeez you should see the mess those guys in Ireland did with my cylinder head. You're a bloody expert next to them. What did you use ?

Grizz

Take up Pete's offer, get some dirt on that refrigerator !!!!

MARK You should buy the missus some nice underwear. Treat her to a splash up weekend in the Ripon Spa Hotel. Take in the beautiful market town and Cathedral, then get your lazy arse into gear and come to CROIX. You've no excuses, 'specially if that one armed Lightning is gonna be ready in time !!!! YOU HEAR ????? And bring the missus if that's the problem.

Looks great Peter! Is the plenum the aerocharger piece? You will have to post the power improvements when it is togeather.

Peter,

Just curious, are you going to make a custom intake scoop for the intercooler or leave it exposed like Don Roys?

Cheers,

Rocketfella,
I used Charley's TIG. Naturally the pic is of the better looking side

Roc,
I don't know how much difference it makes as I've never fitted the turbo without it.

Jim,
Not sure. I can't decide if a scoop will blow more warm air onto the rear cylinder, which might be bad, but then that part of the engine normally lacks air flow, so it might be good.
#2 is a fan on the intercooler.
#3 is an X1 scoop on the left, giving the rear cylinder some extra cooling and hopefully moving air (although warm) through the cooler that way.
#4 is a reverse scoop with a small hole at the front and a bigger hole near my knee, to act as a venturi and "suck" (I know, suction doesn't exist) the air through the cooler.
#5 is weld a water jacket around it with a small radiator at the front.
#6 I leave it as it is and see what happens for now.
#6 is winning.

Fresh,
I got hold of a kit for a Sportster at a good price, not one for a Buell, so I'm just making most of the bits myself.

Does anyone know if you can fit this cleaner on an X1? Are there any pics of how it would look?

Many thanks,
