American Sportbike used to sell the Spondon frame kit. Give 'em a call and I'm sure they'd help you out. It was about $7500. Those wheels on the X1 are awesome. | ||

Is it just me or is that original S1 rear fender (yes I know that one is carbon) looking better with time? Maybe I'm just fed up with getting a wet back - I've been riding the S2 more than the X1 lately. Gratuitous picture:  | ||

That is a stock 1996 S-1 rear fender. The 1997 was also carbon fiber but was coated with black vinylon. What a great looking bike....STILL! Court | ||

Thanks guys, I did buy that carbon fiber fender off of ebay, most people I talk to like the look of the bike without the big fender, but have to confess I have always liked the look of the big fender. PLUS you are right, no wet back. | ||

Magic, the "E-lingo" for them is "Avatars" - that feature appears to be disabled as Tim stated...."Shnizzle".. LIkely if your seeing the Avitars you're looking at a "cached" page on your browser..
