They weren't allocated a grid position and the ones under option have already been secured for next year and 2003. Saubers only way onto the GP grid next season, or in 2003, is if someone already allocated a grid position runs their motor. Incidentally, to get onto the WSB grid next season, Sauber have to produce 75 three cylinder GP1's for homologation, and last week Sauber met with WSB bosses and they wouldn't relax the rule.
