There are many places with better food, but the Dinosaur is a common place that we all associate with Badweb. it's kind of like the little joint we hit for breakfast, There are many other places that have better meals, but the food is good and the prices are fair. You can find better food and cheaper prices, but the little place is where you prefer to go. The main idea is that it's a common place with memories of good times that have happened and will hopefully continue to happen. I picked the Dinosaur for those reasons. I don't get up this way very often, anymore and I associate the Dinosaur with some very good times. I liked the food at Hoodoo Brown's and, as Jaime stated, we can hit it maybe next time. Another part of why I picked the Dinosaur is because I'll get to ride over the Mohawk and Taconic Trails on the way to Troy. and I'll ride on Route 116 on the way back. Those are great rides and I'm looking forward being on those roads again. | ||

It was great seeing everyone today. I thought it amusing the one who actually lived the closest to this location is the one who came by car! My Cycle Gear Cool Vest did what it was supposed to and despite seeing temperatures of 99 degrees after leaving the restaurant I remained comfortable. Not running into traffic and being able to continue moving contributed a LOT to that as well. Instead of dealing with the bridge traffic through New York City I took the long way home to catch the ferry from Bridgeport, CT instead. Hope everyone else got home safe and sound! | ||

I'm home and I just talked with Kathryn and she made it home OK. It was a really enjoyable day for me. It was good to see everybody and to shoot the bull. The brisket was better than I remember brisket from the Dinosaur. Next time, we'll try Hoodoo Browns. | ||
