The Alexanders once lived up on Indiana Ave... in my neighborhood. This is horrible. What a great human being, and WAY too young. Prayers up for my Senator and Honey Alexander. Not a fun time up there on Blackberry Farm, where they have their home now. https://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/2021/12/31/dre w-alexander-son-lamar-and-honey-alexander-dies-52/ 9065434002/ Gotta get my chin up again... hope to put pegs up soon...!! |

Not many shizz's given this New Year apparently... must be me I guess. Oh well. Wore my red flannel earlier today running around, made me think of the family. The eldest son of Lamar and Honey, this guy was a titan of the Nashville music biz, and I'd not even thought of him in forever. Plus in the gospel scene. Hate to lose someone like that, especially so young. I'll be thinking of the family when I ride out next time towards Foothills Parkway. |

Sad, but all to common recently. I remember his dad's walk across Tennessee when he ran for governor. I think it was the first view of the red flannel... |
