I always enjoy the reporting from MCD... and I have grown to appreciate Yamaha's innovations for decades now. Grew up a Suzook kid, but pretty much my favorite marque now for "rice" is Yamaha. Never have I heard of an "aluminum bartender"... one of the best articles yet from MCN, IMHO. Enjoy! https://www.motorcycledaily.com/2021/12/spinforged -wheels-latest-casting-forging-technology-develope d-in-house-by-yamaha/ |

Sounds similar to the process that Erik did for the RX wheels, I can't find the article I read, something similar about how he saved weight without sacrificing strength and compared to the magnesium wheels used on the RS.. Good read, still like to throw a leg over the flat plane R!... lotta fun to ride, my buddy owns a dealership here, if he sources a cherry like I requested in used, Ima buy it for S & G |
