I know youn's wonder why I post this late. I'm not actually an insomniac. I am a night owl, I find peace of mind late when most are sleeping. I draw strength of mind at late hours.
When Eric dared to carry me home from that debacle of a ride that I had led... it was nothing short of epic. He and I got the task of bring home my Frau Blucher intact, without the locals knowing anything... and during ramp season. If you've not tasted ramps, you aint from around here.
I digress. I am SO looking forward to May in Suches. I intend to be there with Jane Honda, in full regalia, and with freshly installed cartridge emulators and new rubbers. Hot dogs likely also. Life doesn't suck too bad here, at my place, but I'll need a getaway by then. GOTTA stop by my chauffeur's home, FWIW. I forgot to tip him back then. |

If I can time it right, I'd love to trip to Jim's for some prime rib! Damn that sounds awesome.
I loved the ribs, but I've had to quit pork meat.
My Uly needs a work out.
I'm not up to any full day trips. Crusty's plan is awesome. I lived on those routes for about 12 years. Nearly every other weekend. It was nearly a 500 mile day trip from my place.
Not sure how much I can do. I can only describe it as I ride fairly stiff backed, with a limp. (Oddly enough, the same as I walk) lol
Just been doing short local trips for the past few years. I had planned to retire to long trips on the Uly. Damn the human condition! |
