Textbook, hardcover, OLD school. Didn't know he partnered with Daschle after his congressional career. The below NPR piece is VERY good... also mentions his love of political humor. He kept talking about how his "little blue friend" made things so much easier for him The punchline came at the end when he drank from a can of Pepsi). Sadly, at the end, he was a Notorious B.I.G.ot supporter. I guess I can forgive him for that now. Go ahead and substitute our last POTUS for that last statement, youn's. Yeah... he would've been a damn sight better than the last R, for sure. Not makin' them old school like Senator Dole anymore. WWII veteran to boot... today is my mother's Bday, just happens to be the day we were forced into World War II. Army... that was Bob Dole. Hats off to all the remaining WWII veterans. What a day... for me personally, but also for the last of the old guard.
