RD burgled my turd!
DAMMIT but I'll be covered up with squirrel bazookas into next month. Won't be into NC anytime soon. Oh, and I WILL NOT be selling my Beemer, so the PC800 is available. I've found that the shifter and ergo's on the BMW are much more conducive to being an old fart. The PC800 likes to trick me into thinking I'm young and riding a Buell again... DAMNIT I don't want to sell that thing. Meh... it'll be a LOT easier to find one of those down the line than another R75/7, 1977 flavor. Bottom line: I can operate the shifter with no pain on the BMW, the Pacific Coast, no bueno, and I shouldn't think about changing anything away from bone-stock. Plus, I ran outta gas AGAIN, with only 140 miles on odo. Good news is I was only 100 yards from home. Today. I KNEW it would poot out on me. Gotta stay with my old Frau Blucher, not the Geisha.
But I digress. Hey, RD, go see Eric's place and shoot pics. Operation TurdBurglar Omega.

A guy from Columbia stopped by on a Uly. He started out from Florida on a Himalayan and lost the clutch 90 minutes in and had to go back and get his Uly. Bubba swung through and waved then disappeared.

Weather has been GREAT. Just enough breeze for t-shirts. There is a father son team occupying Matthew's tree with hammocks and catching trout from Canada Creek.

Good recon, man! I actually looked at a new Himalayan on Tuesday, then saw another yesterday, just bought new, with temp tags!!
$5000 at the dealer... better not. And... dangit, I'm back on keeping the PC. Was told buy a guy at Time Warp, Tuesday evening, that he knew of a guy who put well over 300K on his. I actually USE it too much to part with it, and gas prices for my V-8 GMC truck... gonna go work on getting the Bayliner running, then sold.
Keep posting pics, bubba! Is there any law in Suches yet?? How was that inferior BBQ?

I have been wondering... also, they used to make what were called Mick-O-Pegs. I'd LOV to have a set of those also- footpegs that cantilever from under the wings on each side of the bike!! They were made for GL's also.
And... found out from a Bayliner dealer that my 1992 Capri values @ $4250 for very good condition...! Of course this ISN'T in great condition... looks like two trees fell in, after a Bigfoot shat in the boat and wiped her arse with said trees. If the motor runs though...

Hey, RD!! Could you arrange to get me some Jim's smoked chicken wings... for Marcia? It would be flat awesome if so. I had wanted to just ride down for lunch and then back, but flying squirrel bazooka and mortars. PLUS, the TN state HOG rally is going on!!! Downtown Mur-Vil is blocking off the streets in a couple of hours... yee and HAAAA!!!!
That's funny. I knew him as Greg and didn't realize I was with Sprink. I must be getting old.
I got home Sunday after a very rainy ride. Had no problems cruising at 70 to 71 GPS MPH. Even tagged 81 running down a mountain when the harleys and the big rigs I was running with loosened the reigns. My exhaust is a prettier purple now. 2,700 miles and and Sparky is loosening up nicely. I'll eliminate the air injection from my exhaust and do away with some of that heat.
Very cool!!! If the day ever comes that I get to buy new, I'll be looking at a RE something first. If Rderp likes, it must be good. Plus David and Gloria down in Colombia have one, riding in style!
Been studying a bit on low-displacement ICE stuff. Heard today that a 3 wheel Piaggio 250 will hold 85 on I75 to 81, from here all the way to VA.
There is a company working on a 510cc 35 bhp engine for the himalayan. They figure the frame is only good for that much. The 411cc got me home on interstate highways with torrential rains. TEC cams are constantly sold out. If I get one, it should allow me an extra tooth on the front chain ring while being able to pull it.
As always, it was great to see everyone. Greg I enjoyed talking with you, thanks for making the trip down here. RD, you picked the right time to leave it started raining Sunday about 10am and it's still raining.
Thanks to the talks up on the porch I have the idea of a TW200 stuck in my head. The next good deal I see on one I will have one. Thanks?
