Accidental torpedo launches must be acceptable (age appropriate miss fire only).
However if one was found to be guilty of an intentional launch outside an outhouse they would need to be put on pooder doody for the rest of the event.
Wow, it was a real Buell rally! I'm thinking I'll ride the Glide this year. Besides, I want to see your "new" Glide too. How did the gearing change work for you?
Yeah... I just wish I could make it. For the BBQ, and all the shenanigans, and certainly the riding. Heck, it's been a coon's age since I've seen you, Mark. Oh well.
Just had to cancel a weekend meet-up with an old friend at Grattan....damn his work schedule!!! Might be able to roll over to this but no plans to ride the M2. Is the campground suitable to bivouac in a small 18' toy hauler? Not young enough to tent camp any more. Never been to one of your meets but could be interested.
Well OK! Made reservations at the River Run campground for Fri-Sun. Without electric hookups at the Cokely site, I'd need to run the genset and didn't want to disturb the adjacent campers. Guess I'll throw one of the bikes, maybe the M2, into the TH and go make new friends.
Gonna have to do some research on what roads to ride in the area. Looking at Googlemap, it looks like there ain't a bad choice...
Hey Bill, You may not want to stay at the River Run Campsite. I rent the top of the hill at the Cokeley Campground just for the Buell Rally. There is a little electric that we run to Dougs camper and then cords all over the place for all the C-Paps our group needs to sleep! LOL.
There are a few Generators running all night so one more shouldn't be a problem... unless yours is equipped with straight pipes.
The River Run campsites are about 5ish miles away from Cokeley... and there is not a straight stretch of road to be found a PLENTY of deer at night.
I have heard that a few drinks may be drank around the campfire and we wouldn't want you to end up in the ditch... like some other Rally attendees have done in the past
