BTW, that was an epic ride. From Mur-vil to Powell, then back, rain suit on/off. On the return leg, stopped at the Time Warp Tea Room, every Tuesday is vintage bike nite. I was dang early, had to make it home. Stopped at the MOB (Merchants Of Beer) in The Old City, got NOM_TASTIC jumbo applewood smoked chicken wings for M's B-day, a surprise. Met a guy whilst waiting for the wings who runs a presxsure-washing biz, who had been struck by lightning, who had also designed and planted a hella-fantastic herb garden on the side of the food truck that made the wings. He might hire me for work. Then, to the Mast General Store, got some new Royall Lyme fancy smeller stuff, stickers too. Rode through downtown to cross the Gay Street Bridge, then Mur-vil Pike home. That's where I spotted the sign. (Another church in Rockwood had a good'un, on the approach to Pellissippi Parkway.) Made it home in time to order and then go get her requested B-day dinner, Thai takeout for us and her brother too. Ten minutes early, by the way. The whole trip was to go get a notarized bill of sale, so that we can sell Gramma's Suzuki. Nothing about all that seemed to impress her. Even though she RAVED! about the wings when I first brought them home. Oh well.  (Message edited by 86129squids on July 01, 2021) | ||

Nice ride Brad, having a tough time this summer finding seat time, took a data position for the summer/fall for one of my Towns, pays very well but sux the time for riding to short feel alive blasts.. but on the other hand, my bank is getting phat....so much for retirement, tried to retire from another Town and they gave me 6K a year raise to stay for a part time position,,, Can't stop laughin at this one,,,,  | ||
