Sounds like a good idea to me, from a safety perspective. It would be unobtrusive until an emergency, where it might step in to prevent a get off.

What I like about motorcycles is the KISS principle ("Keep It Simple, Stupid"). If I wanted obscene complexity I'd be more interested in cars than I am...

Lately the bikes I find myself drawn to the most are made by Royal Enfield.

I do not appreciate even liquid cooling because of it adds complexity and more things to fail.

I remember one of the retired owners of the BMW shop asked me why I no longer owned a BMW. I told him I didn't like the electric brakes and the nanny modules that fail with age along with flaming differentials! He told me I just needed to ride one. Later in the conversation he told me about his new bike. A Triumph! A retro version! No bells and whistles! Hmmmm.
