If its happening it would probably be East Troy or Mukwonago. I wonder if, since there is no factory parking lot to gather at anymore, we could get some space sponsored by the city. In my dreams of an ideal homecoming there would be a Buell motorcycle swap meet type of event. Participation might be increased if Buell owners thought they might be parts and bikes for sale. The downside is it would require actual organizational skills and management people to coordinate something like that... for free. |

So nice of you to volunteer Steve! Looking forward to it - in Wisconsin.

I think I pretty clearly said it was a dream... Those of you who know me, already know I am NOT really executive leadership material. |

Now retired, I'm in the process of getting all three of my bikes road worthy. Hardest one will be the 1125r, it needs a rotation. |

Thanks guys. I don't have enough to do right now. Will be getting the second bath done soon, then on to the basement for a total make over. Tearing into the X1 later this week and having the front forks rebuilt at TSE, Trackside Suspension and Engineering, in Darien Wisconsin. Good people from what I heard from a guy who lives in Whitewater! It's only 22 years old. Probably has the same fork oil from the factory. And finally mounting the Galfer rotors, if I can get the old ones off...Loose1 told me it's a death trap right now. Original six pin rotor up front! |

I'm having my Uly forks rebuilt this year from TSE as well. Good people from what I've experienced last year. Super friendly to work with, and they know their stuff. |

Twirlin, that is good to hear about TSE. This will be a first time with them, going to add the S2T in as well, making it two front ends rebuilt. Then, at least, I'll have a baseline to work from. Also going to have them "teach me" how to set sag, rebound and damping on the rear shocks. |

Steve, I've had good success with the Slacker tool sold by Motool. https://motool.co/products/slacker-digital-suspens ion-tuner-v4 Makes setting sag by yourself possible, and very easy. I'm just up the road from you in Fort Atkinson. If I'm ever over for breakfast again with Mrs. Twirlin, I could bring it and let you use it. |
