Before Lincoln was inaugurated, which is some serious deja vu. Of course that was over a century ago, and I had nothing to do with it. An IMHO they've been coasting on that for far too long. The Current R Party Establishment hates Donald with a burning passion. He is ruining their little position at the hog trough. I will point out that many of his enemies are, in fact, evil. That includes a bunch of Republican Establishment Rich that hate him more than the D's do. And you've got God King Xi, the Iranian Mullahs, Antifa, and Blatant Lying Marxists, all on the Harris/Biden* side of this unfortunate lack of a great choice. In fact, other than his ( or really his Staff's ) policies that improved the economy, pulled us out of the Paris Climate Excuse Accords ( where it turned out, predictably, we were the only ones to actually meet the agreement standards, despite leaving it ) and his success in Peace negotiations in the Middle East, the only thing I Really like about The Bad Orange Man is how he calls his evil scum enemies, evil scum. Our democracy is a Republic. Our government is too damn big for its own. I sure wished just it did its role as intended...but here we are. This "most secure election ever" was the biggest goat rope I've ever seen. Was there enough "glitches" "inconsistencies" or cases of "user error" to make a difference? The world may never know. That's all I know. Democrats only know how to play dirty and don't get called out. I'm fine with Trump calling it as he sees it. These are certainly interesting times. | ||

First, the Republican Party did not invade the Capitol building. Antifa did. Facial recognition proves it - but of course, you don't hear that on the news. You don't see the tweet screenshots from atifae, saying "wear MAGA hats and carry American flags so we blend in, but wear your MAGA hat backwards so we can pick each other out". Second, these are not "riots". There are no businesses looted, no buildings burning, no police cars destroyed, no debris strewn across the Mall like downtown Beiruit (or Portland). But, it's funny (pun intended) how THIS event is called out in the press, but Portland, and Minneapolis, and all the others, are simply ignored as "peaceful". Third - if there's nothing to hide, why don't we prove it? The democrats swear everything is on the up and up. They're bellowing that "we need to heal and come together" (after four years of "Get in their face and let them know they're not welcome", and destroying cities, and spitting in old folks' faces while they eat at sidewalk cafes) - if they truly want us to heal and work together, take the time and PROVE IT. Prove it's clean. Prove there's no bullshit. I dare ya. I'm not saying we're right; I'm not saying you're right. I'm saying your side doesn't have the balls to prove it. (And I suspect that's because anyone with half an ounce of common sense can see they're full of shit - NOTHING was above board this time around, and they don't want to risk getting caught). As was stated before, the United States of America is not a democracy. We are a constitutional federal republic. Now that that's out of the way, I'll say the following. I believe that all politicians are corrupt at some level. Whether this means they accepted a free pair of movie tickets or they are somehow driving a car that costs twice their annual salary, they're corrupt. Evil? There is evil in every man's heart. The very fact that we walk the Earth in a state of perpetual suffering illuminates that fact. I was going to go on a much longer rant about good and evil, but I'll get back to Brad here... Brad, look at the outward behavior of the "Democrats". Just look at what they say and do. Now, keep in mind that the media favors them - showing only the most desirable soundbites and video clips. Likewise in the opposite, they show only the most undesirable bits about the "Republicans". Read the bible a few dozen times, and start consulting it every single day for the rest of your life. I recommend the Bible Gateway app for your phone from Harper Collins. It's really excellent. Get into this habit, and then just look around at what's happening. Then get back to me about why the "Democrats" are evil. I contend that the "Republicans" are just as evil. Donald Trump is neither a Republican nor Democrat. He was once one, but is now the other... but it's just a word, a label. There are those who think Trump was somehow in this for himself, that he's selfish, blah blah blah. He didn't need the money. He didn't need the prestige. He doesn't need you or me or anybody else. He does the job for FREE. And while I had to choke down the vomit in my throat when I voted for him the first time, I was first in line and smiling when I voted for him the second time. Why? Because most of what he did has helped me and my family. Anybody else recall seeing the leaders of North and South Korea holding hands and walking across the DMZ? How about getting closer to actual peace in the Middle East than we have been since.... EVER. The list goes on and on, and even Google can't hide all his accomplishments. Get ready for some new wars. Or amplification of the old ones. Biden will have us in a hot mess in very short order. He'll do exactly as Obama did with his phone and his pen and bomb dictators, leaving power vacuums which will not benefit us or anybody else in any way. Think "Ayatollah", "Malaise", "Inflation"... think those things... because here they come. | ||

With re-increased governnment regulations (red tape), open disdain for oil and gas industries, and the Green New Deal fiasco...we will lose our energy independence in short order, and fuel prices will quickly spike back to where they were under 0bama. That said, in my view Trump and GOP deserved to lose for failing to effectively combat that. Trump is very naive or optimistic about people it seems. He will not be able to run again, he will have no voice in the press, social media, or pretty much anywhere. They have already done that to him. And the RNC hated him, but he was a steam roller against their pavement and nothing was going to stop him, so they had no choice. And I'm predicting that there is a good chance our new regime will turn him over to Iraq. I fear for the people that protested the electors, you already see the cries to make them resign. And I fear much worse than this, took a large amount of courage to protest in such a one sided contest. In the end, I can only hope that none of my fears come to be, there are a lot of other things I can see coming down the line and I don't like most of them. I will say one thing, this just reinforces the need for term limits all around, from city/town/county on up to the top. | ||

Term limits are the least of our worries at this point. Honestly, if it comes to it, I think the only "term limit" that will be imposed on a government official in our nation ever again, will come from the barrel of a gun. After this farce, with total control of house, senate, and White House (which I'm sure will lead to control of the 3rd branch through packing the Court), they'll never relinquish power, nor will We The People have the ability to vote them out. I've always despised the fact that our system, for all practical purposes, has evolved into a two party system. I never thought this much divisiveness would come from it, but I definitely knew that when any one party holds a majority it would amount to playground politics and there would be no real compromise. If one could take away any majorities, one could possibly hope that they would actually think about what's good for their constituents and not just where the party line falls. That sure is wishful thinking on my part. Just imagine if there were no parties and only issues and topics on which they have their own view points and opinions on. One of the great ironies is that Donald would never have become President, Never got the R nomination, if CNN/ABC/MSNBC/ETC. hadn't seen Donald as both the best source for quick sound bites, and the "best" person to set up as a sure loser, to guarantee that their Chosen One, The One Whos' Turn It Was, would win. They sure did get their sound bites. I wasn't very thrilled with any of the Republicans running either, to be honest, Although I had hopes for the Brain Surgeon. First, I want to be clear on my distinction between "rank and file" aka normal humans, who are members of one or another Party, and the Aristocracy that exploits them. Just because you have a D or an R next to your name on your voter registration doesn't mean you are a Klan lover, a Marxist, a racist, a religious fanatic, or a happy pig at the trough of "campaign money".
