Recent events and now the actions of Twitter, Facebook and now Google and Apple removing Parler, has me thinking that really pissed off people are going to feel more censored and alienated... and painted into a corner. I fear this will not end well.

Well, between those who are crying "here comes civil war", and those who are actually trying to start one, you have the rest of America which are mostly lazy and haven't the stomach for any of this.

Google and Apple and Failbook and Twitter can exist or not exist and it doesn't matter one whit to me.

I was happy with dial-up BBS systems and 8 bit D&D based games.

Petulant children will always make a lot of noise about things they don't like. We had hippies when I was a kid. Now we have the children of those hippies. It seems so much worse than it actually is, because they have instant media with global reach.

Keep your powder dry, and go about your business. Anything a reasonable person does that's outside the norm will be portrayed in the most negative light possible, as we saw in Washington DC.

You have to consider the indoctrination of the Leftists vs. the principles of the Centrist. ( There are so few "Right" wing that they can be ignored )

Leftists will riot, loot, arson, and murder. All have happened in the last 4 years. Communist cell structure is useful to avoid normal law enforcement interference, but in the 2000's it's the Media and Political Left protecting their cannon fodder that lets BLM & Antifa take cities and ruin them. If the Mayor isn't a Fellow Traveler, they can't.

Centrists don't riot. Arson, looting, nope. They stay home, they feed their families, and occasionally go have a nice rally and then clean the park.

But there are loons of any persuasion.

Oklahoma City Federal building is the most famous Domestic version, apparently/allegedly a PTSD vet. Protesting the ATF/FBI murders at Ruby Ridge & Waco. Technically? Center right?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_in cidents

A few things stand out... the 1916 Bombings in the US were antiwar/German agents? 1963 had a Klan group bomb a church.

And after 1970 the lists get so long each year has it's own page. 1970 also fits the timeline of Leftist/Communist growing conquest of the U.S. Congress, and the old guys might remember that Tricky Dick was the most hated President of all time... deja vu, eh? ( On the list of people to assassinate with a Time machine, LBJ is pretty far up there, definitely a turning point, along with Wilson )

As one peaceful participant in the rally at the Capitol remarked "If we'd wanted to take the Capitol, they couldn't have stopped us" Note they didn't want to, and if it had actually been a "right wing" group of veterans and patriots attacking Congress, there'd either still be a standoff, or they'd need new elections to form a quorum.

IMHO the False Flag Op this week had multiple purposes, and one of them was to give an excuse for massive personal protection to the Elite. The Inauguration looks to be a Very Controlled Environment. Every Democrat Congresscritter is going to demand a Personal Protective Detail. From Now On.

Or, short form, No. There won't be a Civil War.

I would bet There WILL be additional deaths in False Flag Operations run by Hydra/DNC/CNN?etc.

Consider how great for ratings and ad revenue it would be to have the cameras live on scene, on time, "Coincidentally", as "White Supremicists" assault folk at a Harris/Biden* rally or D.C. restaurant.

Also there are many reluctant politicians that can be assaulted to encourage the others to Follow the script.

This ain't over, but It's not going to be Patriots that hurt people. So stay away from the riots, eh?

Best way to survive a gunfight is to avoid it in the first place.

I agree that we as a people are too lazy and indifferent to start a civil war.

I also believe that many of us, when pushed to the brink, WILL fight back, before we simply cave and watch our nation
(and our way of life) go down the shitter.

BTW, I cant see a civil war in any realistic scenario. When I said SHTF I was more referring to a Oklahoma City type incident. Unfortunately, that would not surprise me.

Reichstag Fire.

To this day, they argue who set the fire. But we know who used it as an excuse to destroy opposition.

The annual campfire party I attend was cancelled by Pooh's Breath and rational caution. At a Big camping event that's hard enough to keep plague from happening in normal years. The year an intestinal flu got rolling was very not happy. Porta johns... 'nuff said.

So I didn't get a chance to discuss terrorism this year. ( mixed group of alphabet agency and military and LEOs and first responders, and all history buffs. )

As a guy likely to be doing first aid at the crash, I'm concerned about follow up bombs timed to get emergency workers swarming to the attack.

Pity, the Very Unofficial Conferences are a lot of scary fun. ( some active duty folk have to do reports after... ) But stay away from mobs is always good advice.
