They a few years back installed a version of the Diamond on Winton Rd where the expressway crosses over it. The idea is to eliminate left hand turns in front of traffic. Which works great! But. You now have confused folk wandering from lane to lane and suddenly slowing down. The number of fender benders went up a lot briefly, and has stayed higher, BUT... It was an intersection pair that had a lot of bad accidents, so overall it's a positive. It does eliminate the #1 car/bike accident, so that's good. It's much like installing a regular traffic circle/roundabout where one hadn't been, and people are not used to them. A Circle was put up the street from a friend's house, and there were several accidents until the local drunks caught on they couldn't sleep in a straight line through it. It was at the peak of a hill, on the N-S road, so folk would zoom over the top and not see cross traffic & vice versa. The temporary carnage did the Darwin thing and over time the death toll has gone down. Personally, I would take an extra lap if there was little to no traffic, both on the Cyclone and my VW. Just for giggles. We have a "partial" circle with Yield signs ON THE CIRCLE on the E & W sides so that traffic on the E-W road doesn't have to stop. It's been that way for decades, at least since I moved here in 1968, so I surmise it was a park in a traffic circle that got altered to suit local reality. I can't lap that with right of way, ( I don't ever count on being seen, so I don't "use" right of way like an idiot in a car might ) but if it's clear I can slow, look, and roll on around. ..while traffic discussion seems to not be germane to the thread... If Biden takes power, then the Greenie Leap Forward will make talking about motor vehicle interchanges obsolete. Then it's Bicycle helmet law arguments! | ||

I just wish someone would openly declare - ON the MSM - what "packing the court" really means. It does NOT refer to filling a vacancy. Biden trying to make it such, is a(nother) outright lie. Voters a) deserve to know what his plans are if he takes office, and b) need to know what "packing" the court truly means. | ||

I think it's pretty REAListic. I'm still unsure about the election outcome...but I AM sure the Democrats will pull out all the stops between now and then. The Biden laptop can be a game-changer. Can you run for President if you have pending charges against you? Honest question... The Dems can't win if they play by the rules. Period. And they know it. One of the comments after the article sums it up - you never know what a caged animal will do. The only question is - what rules will they break, and when? | ||

So the debate last night. There were more than a couple spots where Biden looked like he was about to stroke out..."I have a pl-pl-pla-pl-p-p-pl-plan". Repeating phrases, stammering out partial phrases over and over again, it was ugly. And the look on his face was that of a man who was listening to something - curious what sort of comm devices he was using, he was obviously being fed information somehow. This man is not fit for office. People say that about Trump because Orange Man Bad, but this is an actual MEDICAL issue. | ||

It's great that this bad stuff about the Bidens is coming out, but I don't think it's going to make any difference. I'm convinced that if Joe Biden killed a child on a city sidewalk, in front of hundreds of witnesses, and it was on video, some people would STILL vote for him. This is the full Rally for President Trump in Prescott this week. Laurie and I can be seen several times, once at 2:08:40 but you have to play "Where's Waldo". Laurie is wearing a pink Trump cap and I am in a black "Where's Hunter" t-shirt. Kayleigh McEnerny is at 2:29:00. Governor Ducey and Martha McSally start at 2:45:50. President Trump exits Marine One and "Proud to Be an American" at 1:58:30 We are still thrilled three days later. An American President has not visited Prescott since 1908. Laurie has been working her tail off for President Trump and Senator Martha McSally. Her opponent is Mark Kelly is anti-gun, pro-China, and even flew the Chinese Communist Flag into space as well as on his motorcycle.
