Don't fight without understanding the price and conditions of winning. Don't fight except to win. And if you do fight, fight with overwhelming force to win. Proportionate response invites losing. Long drawn out conflicts kill far more innocent civilians and your own troops. In personal terms it's best to walk or run away, but if attacked, and there's no option, destroy the enemy's ability to harm you and others decisively, rapidly, with as much force as needed to end the conflict. Fair fights are for suckers and friendly sparring. Not the real thing. Now the rest of Jacksonian politics is judged by it's merits. Jackson was a mean bastard. His namesake policies aren't all good. I tend Jeffersonian & Hamiltonian in other aspects, and essentially Pragmatic theft from any other source. My bank has only just this week opened the physical offices ) So as I watch Citizens losing their jobs for private conversations being posted on "social media" for "offensive" "hate speech" "crimes", I have to wonder how long before I can have my ability to access MY money Cancelled? Will my post of a meme of Cthulu on a stormy beach with the caption "No Lives Matter" get my income erased? My house repossessed? No way to buy food, fuel, shelter? Maybe armed, masked, communist revolutionaries throwing Molotov cocktails or armed, masked, gestapo-lite minions of the Government kicking down your door isn't the most dangerous threat we face today. | ||

Good on Mr Walker. It still amazes me the number of people (on the left AND the right) who continue to hold "professional athletes" up on a pedestal through this crap. They're overpaid. They're primadonnas. They have ZERO bearing on real life. They play a freakin' GAME for a living. On the whole, I have zero respect for these people "because they're pro athletes". Who gives a shit. Occasionally, you find a good human being in the group (such as Herschel Walker), but for the most part they're just overpaid, whiny children who have no frame of reference for the rest of our real lives. |
