I didn't fix mine. I traded it in. To see how bad it is, point it down hill, in 2WD, and back it up with a little throttle. My son drove mine with a broken radiator for 2 years and it didn't over heat. It broke all the window mechanisms 3 times. I welded a setup for the fronts using a different set of parts. But I just zip tied the rears in the up position. The A/C went out on both of the Liberties I owned. |

This is my second. All new AC system a couple of years ago. Dealer maintained. Got receipts. Like my first one the front drive shaft is in the back. Only the RR window doesn't work. Good enough! The first one got two regulators and two switches. |

Sifo. I'm thinking at this point in my life....i have no reason to do that. Not necessarily fear. More like too lazy. I'd never have the ambition to put it back together if it slipped off the side. |

Meant to do a follow up post on that, but life got in the way. It's not quite real. It's an RC model! Incredible detail! I'm surprised by how realistic the suspension movement is. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/310044755595949832/ |

Now THAT'S kewl! Now that you mentioned it, I picked up the pale plastic arm on the passenger side. Heck, now even I can afford a Jeep! |

Brad, Brother, you probably should look at how much the guys are putting into those R/C Jeeps. |

the latest want... I made the mistake of going to their website and did the "BUILD" your transfer case just to see how much it would be. Now I have Advanced Adapters advertisements popping up everywhere These things are bad ass! No more chain drive. Its all gear. Plus you can engage or disengage the front and still be in low range depending on the situation. The stock transfer case is 2.72 to 1. You can get the Atlas geared how you like. A stock Rubicon has 4-1 low range but you can get the Atlas in a 6-1 if ya want. I would have to do some research on what would be the best ratio for 40" tires I need to start a "Go Fund Me" page...

Mark I was showing a co-worker your Jeep because he's got a long arm XJ, then we brought up Atlases. I was wondering when you'd be getting one for the Heep... |

RONA... I have spent most of my rona time off doing work around the house.... painting, cleaning and fixing a bunch of stuff. Finally got the Jeep out played with it. Way back when we first built our house we had four wheelers that we would ride in the woods behind our house. The four wheelers are long gone and most of the trails have grown over. I spent yesterday cutting the re-growth off of one... big enough to fit the Jeep one. Was a lot of work for an old man but it was FUN!

Not as good as the Uly but close...
latest mod is a rear Rock Jock/Currie anti rock sway bar. Got everything pretty much where I want it. I just need to get it welded.

I've been meaning to bring this up here, youn's Jeepster folk... I've gotten in the habit of a new car spotting game, "Angry Jeep". Lots of folks seem to like the front end fascia that makes their Jeep look angry. Grrr. My quextion: Does anyone make a Jeep front end treatment that makes it look like it's a <happy> Jeep? Just wondering. |

I so hate those grilles. My jeep kinda looks happy with its new LED front end lights but I'm sad because the ignition switch went out which necessitated pulling the dash and while that's apart I should replace the stereo and speakers and might as well rhino line the tub but before that I need to replace body mounts, I'd hate to screw up fresh rhino lining if bolts break and I have to cut the floor but those body mounts have been on back order 4 weeks ANDDDD that's why my jeep is scattered around the shop, it's parts mixed with the Ulysses that needs exhaust components replaced and I've been waiting on those parts for 2 weeks....FML I did get a new rear tire mounted on the CR today and a tail tidy so that's helping me not murder people. |

There's an app for that (no, really). It's called Image Size, very intuitive. Grab it for free from the Play Store. |
