If the protesters judge all police by action of one officer, why don't we judge all protesters by action of those looters and vandals? | ||

It only took 9 days of protests. Finally, tonight on Fox News the Ingraham Angle provided some more recent numbers of interracial violent crime stats. In 2018 there were 4,145,300 violent crimes committed. 14.66%, 607,725 were listed as interracial incidents. 59,777 were white on black offenses. 547,948 were black on white incidents. As posted, in 2010 the numbers were 62,593 W on B and 320,082 B on W. So things have gotten far worse for whites yet now we have blacks insisting white people kneel before them and apologize for their white oppression. If you see a white person doing this....imagine yourself kicking them in the head. | ||

Rural folk have an attitude about city plantations, and the Coronapanic response by D Mayors & Governors have shown that Cities are death traps in a plague. The work at home and restrictions regimes have shown that Cities are pretty useless in a society with internet and suburbs. What's left downtown? Museums. There's one surviving Mall in Rochester, ( the big one with Sears & Penny's folded when the big retailers decided that it cost too much for security & theft to keep marginal locations ) commonly called "the ghost mall", a former industrial complex with a few restaurants ( maybe? ) and tattoo artist, New Age stuff, and.... Ok maybe there aren't any major retail stores at all. The Original Mall downtown was demolished when it got so unprofitable the city bought it, then discovered that asbestos made it too expensive... ( like the Ferry that folded, was bought by the city and sold at a huge loss. Taxpayers are still making payments on that loan. ) Which shows Government is incompetent at business. Plenty of stores in the suburbs, though. So like stables and saddle shops, cities seem obsolete. I know folk in Orange county CA, that haven't been to downtown in decades. Why go there? NYC, Chicago, all the Big Blue smoldering hot spots for crime, seem traps , in many ways. So many ways. | ||

Protests in Hawaii are pretty weak and there is no looting and vandalizing. I am not surprised, there is no escape from the small island and nobody is going to fly so far to make chaos. Hawaii proves that all those riots and looters are not local folk. Lee led that unit of Marines to capture John Brown at Harpers Ferry, that was using Federal troops for an insurrection. That SO belongs on the Never Again thread, too. Tpehak, really like your profile pic. With the exception of the seat, which looks like a nut crusher for a guy with my hips, it's a clean build. Really like the headlight. Ironic that Buells have the most comfortable seat, ( on at least one model ) and the worst. The S1 usually gets the nod with it's epithet "The Thong", but I'll mention the M2L saddle, if you're "big boned". The M2 "custom color match" seat is quite good. I've had hog riders tell me my bike looks uncomfortable, too Ricky racer. But when they sit on mine, ( with S3T bars ) they are always surprised. | ||
