From our friends across the pond:

MP tells MCN motorcycles could be a "happy medium" during Covid-19

As things return to normal, commuting and travel in general will need to adapt.

The AMA, the Motorcycle Industry Council, Dealers, riders need to spread the word of the positive aspects of Commuting via Motorcycle.

You've got a mask on anyway, right?

I think we should all walk around looking like Stig.

Just because.

Menard's requires masks to enter now. Last week I didn't have one with me and took offense that they would not offer me a paper disposable one as a courtesy if they were going to require them, ( like a fancy restaurant loaning you a tie). I had my helmet so I just wore that in. The guy at the door tried to stop me and tell me masks were required. I pointed to the chin bar and asked " This doesn't work?" "No" was his reply.
I was really bugged now, because I have seen so many people inside the store, employees and customers, with their noses sticking out, one strap on an N95,(so they don't pull too hard on your face), I even once saw a guy in the store take his mask off to sneeze, then put it back on. Surely this chin bar beat those yahoos for source protection. I just flipped the shield down and grumpily snapped " how bout now?" He must have realized I was having a rough day, and smiled and gave me thumbs up.
That softened my temperament a bit and I thumbed up back and returned the smile, but I'm pretty sure he couldn't see it..

Between mine, my parents and rental properties, I spend about $4k/yr (fact checked records) at Menards.
When they instituted this policy, I wrote to them and told them that while recognizing that amount isn't even a blip in revenues, that number would be ZERO until they rescinded the policy.
The response I got back was that it's to be 'safe' for all their employees and 'guests' (don't get me started on that term...)
My return was that if it was truly a safety issue, they would be handing them out like the airlines and not charging the measly dollar for them.

Home Depot is now seeing a corresponding insignificant bump in their revenues this quarter as a result.
