He was one of the founders of Kraftwerk. Growing up, my friends and I spent a lot of time at our local skating rink... the DJ would always play Kraftwerk's "Numbers" for a speed skate. Over the years I got into their other recordings, all fun stuff. A few years ago, unbelievably, they played at the Ryman in Nashville- DANG but I wanted to go to that show! Yeah RD- hard to beat that song. FWIW, for really great surf guitar music, The Trashmen did a lot of other stuff besides . M got me the CD for a Christmas present a few years ago. That's true love. OK, let's make this a techno thread, in honor of Schneider... I started to look up some Aphex Twin stuff, not sure if that's palatable. | ||

Music non-stop, Techno pop! These guys get cranked on the stereo. It was so clean and gave the speakers a work out! | ||

Yeppers! When M's not home, I give my Polk Audio and Yamaha speakers a good dose of jams. Got 2 pair of nice weatherproof outdoor speakers, sound quality is as good out in the yard/garden as it is indoors, if not better. They'll be on today- got beautiful weather, a few friends coming over later for wings, dogs, grilled corn and 'tater salad.   | ||
