Ummm... will Frogs even be able to travel down south?!? Hate to say it, I have doubts, from NY state... Tried to contact him, no bueno at this writing. Hugely craptastic. Giant sucking sound. Sun's out, mid 60's, beautiful day. Been watching my bluebirds nesting and hunting. Gonna walk down to the gas station for more beer, and ciggies for M. | ||

Sides... make mine a double order of the baked beans. They keep really well and I can enjoy them cold if necessary. I may be able to get up there earlier on Friday because of something that just came up at work... So, if what I'm about to tell you actually happens, then: Next Monday, I'm going up to Knoxville to pick up a temperature controlled shipment of some unknown pharmaceuticals and rushing it straight up to Columbia University in Manhattan. Straight into the hot zone. | ||

Really close to Columbia is a Rib Joint that I kinda like. It's called the Dinosaur BBQ. You might have heard of it. I recommend their Brisket and their BBQ Beans. | ||

Actually......you’ll likely be going to the Columbia University Irving Medical Center which is up in Washington Heights, around 165th Street.....not at the main Morningside campus of Columbia University where I teach. Columbia is largely closed as is the Dinosaur. If you stop to eat in Manhattan .....admit yourself to the psych ward when you get to the medical center. :-) | ||

Hopefully, they will be open for take-out, although NYC is the center of the zombie outbreak. My NYC peeps are fighting desperately by taking the vodka challenge. Here in Prescott, all restaurants are closed but most are providing take-out options. Laurie and I did a nine mile hike yesterday with 230 more miles of trails to explore. Stay stiff. We'll get through this. | ||

My offer stands. M made a giant batch of sancocho yesterday... she said, and I agreed, that her Mom would be proud. Got frozen, killer cornbread to heat/dunk. I love my woman. I keep working on earning/deserving her love. She's even mastered my matrilineal recipe for chicken and dumplings. Matthew, please stop by if need be. | ||

As for the Dinosaur, we will be delivering our shipment at 0900 on Tuesday and won't be able to wait around for 1100 when they open. However, delays at a delivery location are not uncommon. So, we'll see what happens. | ||

Check it now. He's riding over Wolf Pen Gap. you can watch his speed drop as he goes around the turns, then it picks back up when he exits them. I strongly suspect he's heading for Jim's. | ||
