I'm starting to wonder if MiniMike really IS a Trump plant...he can spend billions without noticing it missing, he can sew discord in the Dem ranks, he can confuse the hell out of Dem voters, and he is ON THE SAME STAGE as these Socialist morons, calling out their policies and their lifestyles ("what other socialist is a millionaire and owns 3 homes, eh Bernie?"). As many folk who don't "like" Trump feel/point out, you can tell a man's character from his actions, and his Enemies. Trump has Great Enemies! The Republican Establishment. Leftists. Murderous thugs from multiple S. American s---holes. Iranian Mullahs. The dictator of Canada. CNN. The Communist Party. Saint Greta. The Prophet Gore. Hollyweird. Etc. Etc. Etc. Thus Mini Mike may well be going after the at least a little sane Democrat voters, who can see the Bernie Brownshirts gearing up to burn Milwaukee, Liz as the Mean Teacher that will lie to your face, and worse, lie to the Administration about you if you question her Authoritaaaa. And Mayor Pete annoys them with his constant reinterpretation of the Bible. They see it as pandering to Holy Rollers, ( why else pretend to be Christian? ) and resent his even pretending to be Everyman. My takes on the field is different, but I can see how a "sane" Bloomberg would appeal in a field of future Concentration Camp builders.. | ||

I was going to say "people who work with their hands" but, really, people, is revealing. I could go on about how an insanely rich guy with his own heavily armed private army wants to disarm the peasants... True. Or how it's far more important to him to get ever richer than the lives of his servants. Also true. Most importantly, though, is his attitude of being a superior man to the rest of humanity, indicating his concern for the Citizens that he wants to rule is pretty much lies. I'll certainly grant that he's a smart guy. He created a company to fill a need,and picked a VERY wealthy customer base to profit from. That's very smart. If, for example, I decided to make and sell Honda Dream parts for restorers, I'd be going after a small niche clientele that's only moderately wealthy. If I instead made a phone app that tracked your stock picks and notified you when to buy or sell, it would be a larger customer base, with considerably more money. That I'd prefer the former, because it would be more fun, would confuse a hyper power freak like Mike. Mike wants to Run Things. I prefer to Make Things. He's Pournelle's Iron Law of Bureaucracy personified. And obviously from his own speeches, he believes that you are stupid for not being the greedy control freak he is. I shouldn't need to point out the American Farmer is a broadly intelligent polymath with a deep understanding of weather, biology, mechanics, finance, and market forces. Or he's broke. Or dead. I will point out that the American Factory worker might be as specialized as Mike, but she or he hasn't been a mindless robot substitute assembly machine for a long time. Those jobs are done by robots or the lowest paid workers available. Generally today, in Pacific or Asian countries that attracted Western investment to build factories to cut labor costs. Or, if Mike ( and the Socialist Democrats ) has his way, cheap immigrant labor. Propped up by your tax dollars going to Welfare programs, so Mike's buddies can pay them less. Never mind the unsustainable nature of that fraud. They'll make out until it crashes... | ||

I hope they continue to eat each other in public, and the general voting populace wakes up and realizes how stupid they really are. I was reading somewhere about a suspected reason for the rise in popularity for socialism - immigrants (mainly illegals). They're USED to it. They don't KNOW anything else, they literally do not understand how the USA works with capitalism and opportunity. They come here EXPECTING socialism, just expecting a "better version" of it, with state support, state welfare, state medical...and state control of everything. |
