I told him I would be thrilled if Polaris snapped up the company, as the 1190 ET is a ready made GP race bike platform and a turnkey sportbike line would be a relative bargain. His answer was Polaris leadership at the time had no interest in GP bikes, but "we would love to see Polaris snag a lot of EBR's talent, before they scatter.
