Just got these today. I looked around for months at Wesco, Whites, Frank’s, etc. Ended up going with Nick’s BuilerPro with a composite toe and honey vibram sole, so far I love them. I’ve heard that a brutal break-in should be expected but haven’t felt the need to take these off all day. They’re certainly stiff but nothing I wouldn’t expect out of brand new work boots. This is my first pair of handmade boots. I’ve been wearing Redwing, Danner, Carolina, etc for years. Hoping to see many years of service out of these!

Very Nice! I'd go all black, but very cool to have the options that look available. So, I have to ask: How much $$?

Looks cool. Is it for motorcycle riding? In my experience the left boot toe will be rubbed off with gear shift lever. Also motorcycle boots soles can be scuffed off pretty fast with regular riding.

I had a pair of Wesco boots made to my specs back in the mid 90s. They cost a bundle, but I never regretted the price for a moment. I'd probably be still wearing them today if my ankle hadn't of been crushed. In two tears of daily use, they were just getting to the point of being broken in.

Those Nick's boots look beautiful. I hope they give you as much satisfaction as my Wescos gave me.

Right at $500 for the boots. They threw in the two tone options I selected and composite toe for free, which would normally add some to the price. More than I’ve ever paid for boots, but I’m hoping the investment pays off in the long run. My boots have recently been all Danners and although I think they’re pretty solid, I’ve been disappointed to get through only one resole. By the time the second sole is worn out the whole boot is pretty well done.

These will probably not see much motorcycle riding as I haven’t found the time to ride in quite a while. 7 kids, 5 at home, and plenty of work.

$500 really doesn't seem bad at all for a pair of custom handmade boots. Especially for the options you selected. I was expecting to hear $800 or more. Congratulations on getting them, and thank you very much for investing in a made in the USA product!

Now for the co-workers seeing the new boots and pretending you are a rookie or worse, an office creature!
