Greta Thunberg Tweets Pic Of Herself On Floor Of ‘Overcrowded’ Train. Train Company Rips Her For Not Telling Full Story.

quote:

“She’s mad and she’s dangerous and she’s causing young children sleepless nights with her idiocy,” Clarkson said in an interview this week, according to The Daily Mail. “I think she needs to go back to school and shut up.”

“But rather than having her jumping up and down and waving her arms in the air, you can actually go there and say, ‘Bloody hell, fire! Look at what this climate change has done to this place,’” Clarkson continued. “We simply said, ‘Here’s an example of it.’ What do you want me to do now? Get on my carbon fiber yacht and go and shout at Donald Trump?”

When Clarkson was further asked about what he thought about Thunberg, Clarkson responded: “She’s a stupid idiot.”
...
Thunberg recently admitted in an op-ed that her extreme climate plan was about more than just the environment, it was also about fighting the “colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression.”

Thunberg noted that the goal of her “climate resistance movement” is “to change everything.”

The train pic is obviously a pose to show her solidarity with ordinary, non-celebrity folks.

Now, the Goldman folks will still be invited to the best Manhattan and Georgetown cocktail parties and Dem fund raisers.

Complaining about the need for more infrastructure, big power lines and switching equipment,to handle the wind and solar farms out in the boonies, & get the power to where people live.

Re: Greta, now that she's admitted that her Crusade is to "change everything", there's no need to care about rebuttal of the lies she's been & being fed to parrot. Her job is to sell the biggest scam in history.

She's the poster child for child abuse. I have no ill will towards her, but am pretty sure in a just world her exploiters deserve to be sent directly to one of the less pleasant circles of Dante's Hell.

Now, if she lives to be an adult, and switches from parrot to complicit, I'll change my attitude towards her. But today, I will reserve my anger for the evil adults involved.

I bet Court would be happy to build more transmission capacity. I bet he would also be willing to share some honest thoughts on the subject. Honest thoughts on the subject won't stop the greenies from plowing full speed ahead, facts be damned.

That action must be powerful and wide-ranging. After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all. Our political leaders can no longer shirk their responsibilities.

It's not 100% true that the side of an argument that uses ad hominem attacks and lies about facts is wrong.

It's a safe bet though.

The exceptions are really rare, and are usually the fault of the individual mean spirited stupid person involved.

So it's important to get a sampling of opinions, to observe multiple arguments on a subject, before making a judgment.

We now have a solid 40 year history of lies and ad hominem attacks from mostly one side of the Global Warming lack of debate. They won't defend their positions.

And major players in this revolution openly say it's all about changing the buzzword. Colonialism, patriarchy, capitalism, private ownership of property, civil rights, freedom of speech & religion. All are to be eliminated to "save the world".

I'm an American, so Colonialism is already moot, and we've been against it for well over 200 years.

Good luck on the Patriarchy thing.

The rest fall under the category of "over my dead body". The behavior and language of the Greenies makes it clear that's acceptable to them.

Bell curves show the range of dumb. You would expect, say, 4%, to think the Sun goes around the Earth, even if they had a good education.

If it's 25% ( as the U.S. study showed ) then you need to sue the school system. From the top down.

Listening to a youth human parrot on PBS yesterday talking about "reaching conservative youths on Climate" bull, he steadfastly recited the 97% of climate scientists believe mantra lie.

First, it was a fraud. Outright lie. It was a cherry picked subset of a cherry picked group and then faked. Because 97% sounds good. Second, that wasn't even the question.

Third, and more important, if 97% believe the climate changes, then 3% are ignorant morons who deserve to be picking trash by the side of the road. Not lying about being scientists.

Fun fact. An adult human metabolism puts out about the same heat as an old school 100 watt incandescent light bulb.

Do humans affect the climate? Billions of 100 watt heat sources? Just by having breakfast, yes. We literally can't measure that Hundreds of billions of watts of heat on a planet with a molten iron core orbiting a yellow dwarf thermonuclear explosion in the zone that miraculously allows liquid, solid & gaseous water to exist...billions of watts is undetectable. Melting, freezing, & evaporating water absorbs and releases energy constantly on a massive scale.

Heck, on some sunny winter days, my porch has melting snow, "steam" rising from the wet wood, condensing on the shady side of the porch railing, and sometimes freezing there, having gone through multiple phase changes in a few feet. A thermodynamic microcosm.

The question of CO2 emission and it's effect needs much more study. The Climate Politics is unaffected by science, since decades of failed predictions show they've got it wrong.

You'd be insanely stupid to follow the investment advice of an "expert" that guessed wrong consistently for 40 years.

And if 1/4 of the population is so badly educated they think the Sun orbits the Earth... You get today.

( Don't bother b.s.ing the fact that the Earth & Sun follow a spiralling helix around the cumulative center of gravity of the 9 20th century planets & Oort cloud. Jupiter and the Sun dominates that movement. And that around the Galaxy, which is racing....)

my porch has melting snow, "steam" rising from the wet wood,

I took a video of this same effect the other day. It was in the low 40's (F), and as the sun came out (rare for winter in the PNW), and hit the south side of the trees, the trees steamed for a few minutes as the sun burned off part of their moisture.

Humans don't cause global warming. The sun and refractive gasses on earth cause global warming.

I vote that we ban Sol from social media, delete his Twatter, Yewtube, Instagerm, and Myface accounts, call him racist and sexist and xenophobic, and fine him for billions of dollars. That's the only way to keep the world from ending in 12 years. Impeach Sol! Impeach the Mother F'er!

There was a Chinese movie made within the last couple years called, "The Wandering Earth". The premise, the Sun had started to expand and super-heat the earth. So, the Chinese government got all of the nations on board to build thousands of thrust-producing "engines" which stopped the world from rotating, and then propelled it to the next closest star, in an effort to save the Human Race.

Never mind the fact that the first step (stopping the earth's rotation) (and every successive step thereafter) will kill all living organisms. It sounds very much like a communist construction project. Do something mighty, just to F with nature, and the consequences be damned, our administration knows best.

Humans don't cause Global Warming. Yeah. But our human activities can mess up the environment.

Banning plastic straws in California is an ineffective way to reduce plastic trash in the oceans. It's not where it comes from. Mostly. Not from London, either. We know where it comes from, but it's "triggering" to point it out. ( Africa and Asia, almost all from a handful of rivers )

It's even possible we can change the climate. "Tipping points" are real. OH, not the propaganda St. Greta of Thunberg has been lied to about. That's nonsense.

Skipping insane ideas like nuking Greenland, ( which might not do much ) Proposals to pump sunlight blocking chemicals into the Stratosphere to cool the planet might at enormous cost, work. But there is a real risk of tipping point cascade effect that would plunge us into a civilization wrecking mini ice age.

That's unlikely, mostly because it would take serious crazy to fund a scheme of pumping extra pollution into the sky.

I'm far more worried about Carbon Sequestration ideas like pumping liquid CO2 into old oil wells or fractured zones. It's a recipe for acid gas cloud accidents replicating the many documented mass deaths from volcanic lakes and eruptions.

https://science.sciencemag.org/content/236/4798/16 9.abstract

But I'm annoyed enough to support a pilot program in D.C. ( sarcasm, joke, don't do it )
