Patches, do you dispute that the word of God was in fact written by man? |

Pwnzor, No Sir, It's the part about the belief that God himself "Inspired" the Man to write. That is where the "Faith" part comes in. 2 Samuel 7:28 KJV If you believe all bibles is corrupted by man then God have no power over man. Rom 1:22 - 23 KJV If "Gods Word" is NOT preserved how can God live? John 1:1 - 51 KJV Without preservation you "do not" have God, you have fiction like "Aesquire". No One can Save you. Psalms 12:4 - 7 KJV I believe the KJV Bible is the "Living Waters" Isaiah 41:17-18, John 4:13-15 |

Right-wing Mandalorian star Gina Carano is fired from the series over 'abhorrent' Instagram post comparing Nazi murders of Jews to 'hating someone for their political views' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9248331/M andalorian-star-Gina-Carano-fired-series-Instagram -post.html SJWs do not care about logic, they care about feelings. Gina made a valid logical deduction. Namely: 1. If hating Jews is bad, then so is hating someone for their political views. 2. Hating Jews is bad. 3. Therefore, so is hating someone for their political views. For this, she was fired. SJWs are guided by feelings, not by logic. |

Patrick: "I like the Torches of Freedom reference. I don't worship SF or romance novels or Big Bang Theory. Although "Penny" would be an object for appropriate worship if real. Beowulf to Babylon 5, many lessons in fiction. If you can't grasp the concept of fiction? Best avoid all literature. Especially the stuff people tell you was written by invisible omnipotent omniscient beings." I don't think you worship SF, I'm sure that you can grasp the concept of fiction. But I do understand Patches' point. Fiction has the potential to blur the line between what is real and what is fake. Getting carried away by fiction can blind the mind to reality. As much as we like to believe that we can grasp what is real and what is fake, the fact is that it is not easy. People are lazy and seek easy things, easy ways, easy paths, it has to be easy all the way. Fiction gives people the easy way out, it can serve as an escape route. An escape route is not a bad thing. Imagine that you ride on a road and you get a flat tire. Then you need an escape route, you need to get off the road and fix what needs to be fixed before you venture to your destiny. The problem with fiction is that it is a fake escape route. Fiction does not fix the problem of the flat tire, it only prolongs it. Not sure if this analogy makes sense, but that's the best I got. |

We could get into the difference between a bard, and a shaman. Both seek to profit from telling stories, often of heroic efforts, the will of the gods, even how disobedient children regret their folly. Both often want you to believe their tales. Both may wish damnation on hecklers. Don't recall many cases where the first has people burned at the stake for that, but it might have happened. |

What is the difference between chicken eggs and chocolate eggs? One tastes like eggs, the other tastes like chocolate. Not everything that looks the same tastes the same. |

Aesquire, What does that have to do with The Word of God? "difference between a bard, and a shaman." Are you talking about "Wicca" Witchcraft Pagan religion or X-Box? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wicca |
