Discuss, be passionate. I love 1, 5, 6, 9, 11, 12. I prefer the 'toon version of 8. And to be fair, 7 isn't a Xmas movie as much as it it a searing indictment of bad parents, and serious sociopathy. I still like it. |

4, 9 & 10. The rest all suck, in my opinion. Especially the one with that jackass Chevy Chase. |

3,4,10,11. Yes, I liked Elf. “You’re an angry elf!” |

I'd defend 6 as a classic. The Lampoon movies were a spiraling out of control theme. I preferred the first Vacation movie. Deck the Halls 2006 with Mathew Broaderick & Danny DeVito was more "Christmas themed". As to acting, I thought Chevy did a good job in Fletch, but taste is taste & I won't argue. |

Bah! Humbug!! I don't watch Christmas movies and frankly, don't care that much about Christmas. In my house it's a feasting day but not much more. I despise the commercialism of Christmas. |

I'm with ya, Zane, to a point. At the same time I hate the commercialism, yes, but in my work it really is crucial for my personal finances and countless others I know. Try to focus on the spirit of Christmas. And yes, get yer feedbag on! Back OT: Peanuts for sure. Love me some Vince Guaraldi tunes. Also, that animated one with Snow Miser and Heat Miser. Throw in some Nightmare Before Christmas too. I'll try to think of some other odd ones. So, let me throw in $.02 here- I mentioned Vince Guaraldi. Below is a link to the frickin' BEST Christmas music you'll evaar hear. Cyrus Chestnut revisits many of the Peanuts tunes, and throws in a slew of other great classics, all re-done with a fantastic bunch of musicians and singers. It's only available on used CD, out of print, but the recording is good enough to enjoy year-round. If you're sick of the garden variety dreck playing this time of the year, here's the antidote. HIGHLY recommended, by yours truly. I've seen this guy live twice, one of the best jazz pianists I've ever seen. https://www.amazon.com/Charlie-Brown-Christmas-Che stnut-Friends/dp/B00004U9MM/ref=sr_1_2?crid=19262I 3V1LOAX&keywords=cyrus+chestnut+a+charlie+brown+ch ristmas&qid=1575828732&sprefix=Cyrus+Chestnut%2Cap s%2C162&sr=8-2 |

Another great Christmas movie is "The Long Kiss Goodnight." Look for it. |
